In October 2019 we travelled to Ethiopia to meet up with our son and his wife who are doing a road trip from Cairo to Capetown in their Land Rover Defender. They had booked for the four of us a 3 day trip from Gondar into the Simien Mountains to do some trekking and camping. Belay was our  guide and he made the adventure into a highlight of the trip. He organised a Scout, chef and assistant plus someone to put up the tents in the two camps we visited. His knowledge of the wildlife and birds of the region added to the tour. He pitched the activities to suit our fitness levels and also took into account the effect of altitude on one of the group who suffers from asthma. I would recommend him as a highly professional tour guide.
