About Your Guide

My name is Belay Baye and I’m a tour guide working inside the Simien Mountains National Park and surrounding areas.

I was born and raised inside the park and thus have a strong passion for the natural heritage of the park.

I have a Degree in tourism and tour guidance, I have also taken courses in geology, local flora and fauna, birdwatching and tour guiding techniques.

With over 8 years of experience working as a guide and organizing tours in the park, I now also serve as travel organizer.

With my educational background and work experience, I hope to be your first choice in organizing your trip to the Simien Mountains!
